Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 18, 2026
This English version is a translation provided for convenience. If it differs from the Spanish original, the Spanish version prevails.
This policy explains what data Vyclo Studio (“Vyclo”) processes, why, and how you can control it. If you have questions, write to us at [email protected].
What data we process
- Account: email address, name, workspace name and your password, stored only as a hash. If you sign in with Google or Facebook, the identifier that provider gives us.
- Content: the videos or audio you upload or whose link you paste, their transcripts, the clips, thumbnails and subtitles generated, your favorites and collections.
- Technical data: IP address and server logs, used for security and usage limits, and processing statistics (times, sizes, costs).
- YouTube: if you connect your channel, its identifier and name, and a refresh token stored encrypted.
- Instagram: if you connect your professional account, its identifier and username, and an access token stored encrypted.
- Payments: if you subscribe to a plan, your plan, the subscription status and your Stripe customer identifier. Your card details are handled by Stripe and never pass through our servers.
What we use it for
To provide the service you ask for: importing your videos, transcribing them, proposing and rendering clips, keeping them in your library and, when you request it, publishing them to your channel. Also to keep the platform secure and to give you support. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
YouTube API Services
Vyclo uses the YouTube API Services. By connecting your channel or publishing through Vyclo you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and your data is also subject to the Google Privacy Policy.
- We only access your channel to identify it and to upload the clips you decide to publish, with the title, description and visibility you choose.
- We do not share data from your YouTube account with third parties.
- You can revoke access at any time from Settings → Disconnect, or in your Google account security settings. When you disconnect, we delete the token immediately.
Vyclo uses Meta's Instagram API. When you connect your account and publish through Vyclo, your data is also subject to the Instagram Privacy Policy.
- We only read your account's identifier and username to show you where it will be published, and we publish as a Reel only the clips you decide to publish, with the text you write.
- We do not read your posts, messages, followers or insights, and we do not share data from your Instagram account with third parties.
- You can revoke access whenever you want from Settings → Instagram → Disconnect, or in Instagram → Settings → Apps and websites. When you disconnect, we delete the token immediately.
Who we share data with
We use providers that process data only to deliver the service:
- Infrastructure and network: our server, our own object storage and Cloudflare (site delivery and protection).
- Bot protection: Cloudflare Turnstile, which analyzes technical signals from your browser on the sign-in and sign-up forms to check that you are not a bot.
- Importing YouTube links: Apify, which downloads the video from the link you paste.
- Transcription, translation and text: this may happen on our servers or with Groq, which processes the audio to return the text and, with that text, translates subtitles, prepares the “Your week” copy, finds the moments you ask for, picks the scenes of audio clips and answers in the project assistant.
- Stock footage: Pixabay, to which we send short searches (for example “city at night”) derived from what is said in your video, to find cutaway shots, retention backgrounds and scenes for audio clips. We do not send it your video, your audio or your account data.
- Backups: Cloudflare R2, encrypted in transit and with restricted access.
- Payments: Stripe processes the charges for paid plans.
- Sign-in and publishing: Google (including YouTube), Facebook and Instagram (Meta), if you use them.
- Email: the provider that sends verification, password recovery and service emails (clips or videos ready, failed posts, end of trial), plus the welcome email, a reminder if you haven't made clips yet and the weekly digest; you can unsubscribe from these last ones with the link in each email or in Settings → Account.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, we immediately delete your profile, projects, videos, clips and the YouTube connection; server backups, with restricted access, rotate and disappear within 30 days at most.
Your rights
You can access and download your data from the app, correct it, and delete your account with all its content in Settings → Delete account. For any other request, write to us at [email protected].
Cookies and storage in your browser
We only use cookies and storage needed for the service to work and to remember the preferences you choose. We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, which is why we do not ask for consent for them.
- vyclo_signed_in (first-party cookie, 7 days): it only says that you are signed in, with no token or personal data, so that vyclo.studio can take you to your dashboard. It is deleted when you sign out.
- vyclo_lang (first-party cookie, 1 year): the language you chose (Spanish or English) for vyclo.studio and the app. It is only created if you switch languages.
- vyclo_ref (first-party cookie, 30 days): the code of the invitation link you arrived with, so the person who invited you gets their reward. It is only created if you open an invitation link, and it is deleted when you sign up.
- App local storage: your session, the selected project and your clip, theme and language preferences. It stays in your browser: the session is deleted when you sign out, the rest when you clear the site's data.
- Cloudflare: technical security and bot-protection cookies (including Turnstile on the sign-in forms).
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; if you do, you may have to sign in again.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, if the change is significant, let you know in the app or by email.
